Marvin D Wilson – the Author and the Man
Marvin D. Wilson is a family man, married for thirty years with three grown children and six grandchildren. He has published two books, “I ROMANCED THE STONE” (Memoirs of a Recovering Hippie), and OWEN FIDDLER.
Marvin has had a many careers and undertakings in his life. He has been a hippie rock and roll guitar player (still plays, writes, records and performs), a thespian - mostly high school and college, but he just did a short “extra” bit in an upcoming (February 2009 release date) Lifetime movie starring Sigourney Weaver, a skilled carpenter, a home builder, a small business owner, a skilled trades instructor, a network marketer, a salesperson, sales trainer and recruiter, a Zen Buddhist lay-minister (four years formal training under a Korean Zen Master Venerable Samu Sunim), a hopeless narcotics addict (that has been recovered, rehabilitated, cured and saved, thank you Jesus!), A Christian counselor and Praise Band member of his church, a professional writer and published author, a public speaker, and lately a blogging, twittering, pinging networking nut.
So you see, Marvin has been around the block of life several times, through the ups and downs, and has survived in good enough shape to write about it. He writes books that deliver spiritual and inspirational messages in an engaging, thought provoking, often times humorous, more than often irreverent, sometimes sexy and even ribald way, through the spinning of an entertaining tale.
